NYFW, a Curvy Perspective

PLY apparel brand made history by being the ONLY official NYFW show to feature high end plus size designs on the runway for the Fall 2016 season.

Until recently, the misconception held by many in our industry was that only our “straight size” counterparts appreciated beautifully tailored and high quality clothing. This was for a long time a frustrating fallacy to challenge. PLY apparel was proud to contribute to such a powerful moment and help women across the globe embrace their feminine curves in the most elegant, chic and sophisticated ways.

Our models were breathtaking in the new collection and made style for a curvy woman look effortless.  The 2.12 PLY Experience introduced the curvy fashionistas to their future wardrobes when we unveiled our collection.

Here are looks from the collection that were among the crowd favorite:

  1. Model Chearice in Rachel top and Samantha slim skirt
  2. Model Connie in Veronica mock neck top, Janet cold shoulder Vest, and the Bethanny circle skirt
  3. Model Rachel in Claudia dress w/Uwa felted embellished wool vest
  4. Model Denka in Avery leather/knit camisole, Paula ponte knit vest and Wrap palazzo
